Our Story

This is our Heritage

For five generations, the Mallon family has been passionately devoted to the beef industry, nurturing a rich heritage of quality and craftsmanship. Today this knowledge, experience and passion has built what we know as Liffey Meats. Our story began over a century ago in a small town in County Monaghan, where Mr. James Mallon established his own business. Today, we continue to uphold his legacy, ensuring that our commitment to quality remains at the heart of everything we do.

Experience the Liffey Meats Journey

Continuing the family tradition, Mr. James Mallon opened a butcher shop on the main street of Castleblayney, providing high-quality beef to local clientele. This traditional family butcher shop laid the foundation for our business today. Our ethos remains rooted in customer satisfaction, ensuring that every product we offer meets the highest standards of quality and service.

Our Approach has helped us to grow, to build state of the art facilities, to work with over 10,000 farmers and supply some of the consistently best beef in the world.
