As a business everything we do over the short, medium and long term is guided by our commitment to reach net zero.
This is reflected in our Science Based Targets for 2030, which commit us to reducing our value chain emissions as follows:
Scope 1 and 2 absolute emissions by 42% in line with a 1.5ºC pathway
Scope 3 FLAG GHG emissions by 30% relative to a 2021 baseline
This represents a critical phase in our longer term ambition to achieve net zero operations by 2035 and across our value chain no later than 2050.
Delivering this progress will be through a laser focus on measuring what matters, implementing new technologies and proactively supporting research to identify new technologies and practices.
