Sheelin Angus

The Aberdeen Angus beef breed is world renowned for flavour, tenderness and succulence. Our Sheelin Angus brand is a matured, select range of Aberdeen Angus beef which derives its unique taste from a natural grass based diet. Subsequently, a program of traditional “dry aging” maturation offers a unique combination of natural processes. This prime Irish beef selection is available vacuum packed or as portion controlled darfresh steak cuts.

Sheelin Dry Aged

Matured using traditional dry aging methods. Experience has taught us that this produces the best results and those most prized by our customers. This method adds exceptional tenderness, depths of flavour and texture of meat.

Storing our beef in this way is an expensive process, with up to 20% lost in weight and trim loss. This loss of weight concentrates flavour in the meat and natural fats, to give our beef it rich and distinctive taste. Our Quality

It is the policy of Liffey Meats to produce beef products which meet and exceed customer safety and quality requirements. We have a technical team who executes quality control checks to ensure the product is fit for consumption and meets the customer’s requirements.

We also have an on-site lab accredited to CLAS to carry out full micro analysis at all stages of production. We are also associated with a fully accredited third party lab if external controls are required for further verification. We have recently achieved IFS and BRC international standards award.
